MS/HS - Viewing Assignments and Grades on myPueo (Updated 2024)
Tutorial Description: Middle and High School teachers use Assignments in myPueo to help student and parents organize and manage their schoolwork. In this tutorial, you will learn how to check your or your child's assignments, customize the Assignment listing view for better organization, and check grades.
Assignments will be listed by Due Date. However, students and parents can also view Assigned date and Due date of assignments.

1. Parent View of the Student's Assignments
From your parent login, you can access any course, assignments, and missing assignments for your child.
Parent View will not be able to turn in or submit any assignments. Students should log in with their username and password to turn in assignments.
- Click your child's picture or hover on the Children drop down if you have multiple children enrolled.
- On the Progress tab, scroll down to the list of Courses. Click on a class name.
1.1. Assignments Tab
- To view all assignments and missing assignments, click on the Assignments tab.
1.2. Assignments: Access to every active assignment from all classes
- On the far right, select a view. The first icon on the right - Grid - will display Assignments in a calendar format.
- Select Day/Week/Month view.
- Click the arrows to go back to view past/future dates to see the assignments.
- The rightmost icon on the right - List - will list assignments by due date. Missing or overdue assignments will be listed first, followed by assignments in the future.
- To view past assignments, click on Past assignments.
- To customize the view (change the color of each class), click on ...More.
- Customize the color of each class (tap on the square to choose a different color).
- Customize what is displayed in the Assignment Center under Assignment information to show.
- To view assignment details, click on the assignment name.
The assignment details will show Class name, assignment type (Formative or Summative), Assigned date, Due date, Status, and student work submitted online.
1.3. Missing Assignments
If a teacher marks an assignment as missing, myPueo can alert you.
- On the Assignment tab, a red Missing Assignment button will appear if teachers mark assignments as Missing. Click on the button.
- A window will appear listing missing assignments. Click Close when done.
2. Student View of the Assignment Center
From your student login, you can access any course, assignments, and missing assignments.
- Click on My Day.
- Next, click on Assignment Center.
2.1. Assignment Center: Access to every active assignment from all classes
- On the far right, select a view. The first icon on the right - Grid - will display Assignments in a calendar format.
- Select Day/Week/Month view.
- Click the arrows to go back to view past/future dates to see the assignments.
- The rightmost icon on the right - List - will list assignments by due date. Missing or overdue assignments will be listed first, followed by assignments in the future.
- To view past assignments, click on Past assignments.
- To customize the view (change the color of each class), click on ...More.
- Customize the color of each class (tap on the square to choose a different color).
- Customize what is displayed in the Assignment Center under Assignment information to show.
- To view assignment details, click on the assignment name.
The assignment details will show Class name, assignment type (Formative or Summative), Assigned date, Due date, Status, and student work submitted online.
2.2. Missing Assignments
If a teacher marks an assignment as missing, myPueo can alert you.
- In the Grid view, click on the Missing Assignment button at the top.
- A window will appear listing missing assignments. Click Close when done.
- In the List view, click on the ^ on the right to expand the list to view Missing or overdue assignments.
3. Parent View of Student's Grades
- Click your child's picture or hover on the Children drop down if you have multiple children enrolled. Click the child's page you wish to view.
3.1. Progress Tab
- To view all assignments and missing assignments, click on the Assignments tab.
- Scroll down to the Courses section to see your child's grades.
- Select the semester in Term.
- Grades will be displayed towards the right of the class name.
- If no grade is shown (--), click on See grade detail button. A window will pop up with the detailed grading for that class.
Please note: Classes that grade on the Middle School Continuum (AE, ME, EE) - the graph in the Grade Detail page may not be accurate. Please refer to the Summative section below the grade to view grades earned.
4. Student View of Class Grades
- Click on My Day.
- Next, click on Progress.
4.1. Courses listing with grades
- Scroll down to the section Courses.
- Click on the current semester in Term, and click on the button Show.
- Grades will appear to the left of the teacher's name.
- If no grade is shown (--), click on See grade detail button. A window will pop up with the detailed grading for that class.
