Set Gmail app as the default email app on student iPads

Tutorial Description:  In this tutorial, students will be guided to change the default email app on their school-issued iPads to Gmail (instead of Mail).

  1. Open Settings.
  1. On the left side, scroll down and tap on Apps.
  2. On the right, tap on Default Apps.
  1. Tap on Email.
  1. Tap on Gmail.

If you click on a hyperlinked email address, the Gmail app should open with that email address in the To field.
