Elementary Student iCloud Backup Guide
Tutorial: This tutorial will show the student how to properly back up their iPad using iCloud. Students will need to make sure they are using their school managed Apple ID.

- Tap on the Settings App.
- On the top left of Settings, tap on your Apple ID name.
- Make sure your student Apple ID is being used to store your iCloud Backup. It should end in @id.midpac.edu.
- Tap on iCloud.
If the Apple ID is not signed in to the school assigned Apple ID, there will be issues with backing up the iPad and teachers having the ability to access the iPad during class instruction. If the Apple ID is not correct, please sign out and use the school issued Apple ID.
- Tap on iCloud Backup.
- Tap Back Up Now.
You can see your latest backup date and time below Back Up Now.
After tapping Back Up Now, you do not have to wait until the iPad is fully backed up before you continue to use it.
