iMovie Backup
Tutorial Description: This guide will show you how to manually backup your iMovie data by exporting your files to iCloud Drive and then importing them on a different iPad.

Export iMovie projects and save to iCloud
- In iMovie, tap on a project. Tap on the Share button at the bottom.

- A pop-up will appear. Below the iMovie project name, tap on Options.

- Under Type, tap on Project. Then tap Back.

- Tap Save to Files.

- Under Locations (on the left), tap on iCloud Drive.
- Create a folder in iCloud Drive for your iMovie project backups. Tap on the New Folder icon at the top. Name the folder, then tap Return.
- After tapping Return, you will open the folder. You can rename the project in the text box at the bottom. Tap Save on the top.
- Repeat steps 1-4 for each iMovie project you want to back up. Save all the iMovie projects in the same folder.
Import iMovie projects from iCloud
- In iMovie, tap on the 3 dots in the top right and tap Import Project.
- On the left, under Locations, tap iCloud Drive. On the right, tap on your iMovie backup folder.
- Tap on an iMovie project file.
- iMovie project is now imported. To import additional projects, tap Done at the top left. Repeat steps 1-3 for each iMovie project you want to import.

Please note: Dependent on how large the files are (how many video clips, how long the project is, etc), it may take some time to import and work on the project.).
