Save Pages, Keynote & Numbers Files to Google Drive iOS
This guide will demonstrate how to save Pages, Keynote and Numbers files to Google Drive. The Pages app is used for this guide, but all three apps use the same file Browser so the same steps will apply. This guide assumes that you already have downloaded and signed in to the Google Drive iOS app.
1. Open the Pages App
Open the Pages app. If it's not in Browse mode, tap Browse at the bottom of the screen.
2. Navigate to your Documents
- Navigate to where your documents are saved. In this example, they are located in iCloud Drive, but your documents may be saved to another location on your iPad.
- Click on the Folder in iCloud Drive where your documents are saved. In this example, they are in the Pages foider.
- Once you've found your documents, tap Select in the top right corner.
3. Select Documents to Save to Google Drive
Select the documents you want to save to Google Drive by tapping the circle next to the document icon. In this example, 3 documents are selected.
4. Tap Share
- Tap Share at the bottom of the screen. The share sheet will appear.
- Scroll sideways until you find the Google Drive icon. Tap the Google Drive icon.
5. Select a Folder in Google Drive
The files you have selected will appear inside the Google Drive share sheet.
Tap Select Folder to choose the folder you want to save the files to.
6. Save or Create a Folder
- IF you already have a folder to save your documents to, tap it to select it, then tap SAVE HERE. Go to Step 7 to continue.
- IF you don't have a folder to save your documents to, tap the Folder icon to create a folder then continue to the next step.
Once the folder has been created, tap SAVE HERE.
7. Upload your Documents to Google Drive
Tap UPLOAD to save the files into the specified folder in Google Drive. Your files will be uploaded to Google Drive from Pages.
