How to Transfer School Email and Google Drive files to a personal Google account
Overview
If you are graduating, leaving the school, or want a personal backup, this guide will show you how to copy only your school-related Google email and/or Drive files to a personal Google account.

Note: This is a "snapshot" backup. It will NOT sync any new email or Drive files after you start the transfer.
Transfer process
- Enter the email address of the Google account to copy your Email and/or Google Drive files to (destination account).
- You can create a new Google account with 15GB free storage. Click on Create account to get started.
- You can use an existing Google account. To check your available storage in your existing account, go to Google Drive Storage.
Tap Send Code.

- Check that email account for a confirmation code, and enter it. Tap Verify.
Note: If you don't see the email in your destination account, check your spam or junk folder.

- Select the content to copy and transfer, then tap Start Transfer.
Note: The transfer process copies all content within Drive and Gmail. You cannot select specific folders to transfer.

- A confirmation screen will appear. An email to your destination Google account will let you know when the copy and transfer is complete.
