Adding Canvas' Calendar to your Google Calendar (copied)
Tutorial Description: In this tutorial, Faculty will learn how to add calendars from Canvas to their Google Calendar. If you just need to add extra calendars to your Canvas Calendar, please read up to Step 6.
NOTE: This tutorial uses a computer's web browser. It is recommended that you follow this tutorial on a computer.
Step 1: Navigate to the Canvas Dashboard and pop out the side navigation bar so you are able to see the icons and the text beneath each.
Step 2: Select Calendar to go to the Calendar Page.
Step 3: Select the + button to the right of "Other Calendars".
Step 4: Check "Summer Programs" and any calendar you would like to sync to your Google Calendar.
Step 5: Select Save Changes.
Step 6: Make sure the color to the left of your chosen calendar is SOLID.
Step 7: Select the Calendar Feed button.
Step 8: Copy the whole link in the text box.
Step 9: Go to your Google Calendar Page.
Step 10: Select the + button next to "Other calendars".
Step 11: Select From URL.
Step 12: Paste the calendar link from Step 8 in this text box.
Step 13: Select the Add calendar button.
