Signing in to Safari App on iPad
Mid-Pacific Institute utilizes a web filter on the iPad for on and off campus use. In order to use the Safari app or any web browser on the iPad, you will need to log in with your Mid-Pacific Gmail username and password. You will be prompted to re-enter your credentials after a period of inactivity for 8-12 hours.
Please follow the steps below.
1. Open the Safari App
Go to any website.
2. Tap Login with Google
You will be shown a login screen similar to the one shown. Tap Login with Google.
3. Enter your Mid-Pacific Gmail username
The Google Sign in screen will appear.
- Enter your email address.
- Tap Next.
4. Type in Your Password
- Enter your Password.
- Tap Next.
5. The Web Page Will Appear
Once you have signed in, you will be able to browse the internet. You will be prompted to sign in again after a period of inactivity for 8-12 hours. When you are prompted to login again, simply follow the steps above to login.
