Screen Time Limits on Websites
This tutorial will show Parents how to create a Screen Time passcode and set website restrictions on their child's iPad.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap on Screen Time.
- Then, tap Turn on Screen Time.
- Tap Continue.
- Tap This is My Child's iPad.
- Tap Not Now.
- Tap Not Now.
- Tap Continue.
- Create a parent passcode that the child will not know.
- Enter your parent Apple ID and password to recover your Screen Time parent passcode if forgotten. You can also tap Cancel if you do not have an Apple ID.
- Tap Skip.
- On the right side of the screen, tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
- Toggle on the Content & Privacy Restrictions.
- Enter the newly created parent passcode.
- Tap on Content Restrictions.
- Tap on Web Content.
- Tap on Limit Adult Website.
- Then, tap on Add Website.
- Enter the desired website to block on the child's iPad.
Note: There is the possibility that websites will not be blocked unless the exact web address is entered in.
- You will then see the blocked addressed listed underneath the Never Allow section.
