Screen Time Limits on Websites

This tutorial will show Parents how to create a Screen Time passcode and set website restrictions on their child's iPad. 

  1. Tap on Settings.
  1. Tap on Screen Time.
  2. Then, tap Turn on Screen Time.
  1. Tap Continue.
  1. Tap This is My Child's iPad.
  1. Tap Not Now.
  1. Tap Not Now.
  1. Tap Continue.
  1. Create a parent passcode that the child will not know.
  1. Enter your parent Apple ID and password to recover your Screen Time parent passcode if forgotten. You can also tap Cancel if you do not have an Apple ID.
  1. Tap Skip.
  1. On the right side of the screen, tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
  1. Toggle on the Content & Privacy Restrictions.
  1. Enter the newly created parent passcode.
  1. Tap on Content Restrictions.
  1. Tap on Web Content.
  1. Tap on Limit Adult Website.
  2. Then, tap on Add Website.
  1. Enter the desired website to block on the child's iPad.

Note: There is the possibility that websites will not be blocked unless the exact web address is entered in.

  1. You will then see the blocked addressed listed underneath the Never Allow section.
